Desiya Vidya Kendra Trust was started in the year 1982 to perform an essential duty to the society through education.
Objectives
- This trust is dedicated to comprehensive public welfare, offering relief for the poor, providing medical aid, and promoting education without discrimination based on caste, creed, community, or religion.
- Its scope includes establishing and supporting hospitals, clinics, and maternity homes to alleviate human suffering, alongside creating and maintaining various educational institutions such as schools, colleges, polytechnics, and research centers, complete with student hostels and scholarships.
- The trust also aims to enhance learning through libraries, reading rooms, and recreational facilities, and to provide essential support by conducting feeding programs, and offering aid to those in distress or affected by calamities.
- Furthermore, the trust is committed to fostering Bharatiya culture, heritage, and values, emphasizing patriotism, social service, and the principles of truth and non-violence.
- The trust advocates for vegetarianism and compassion towards animals, striving to cultivate love and brotherhood among people. The trust also seeks to discourage non-vegetarianism and alcoholism, aiming to preserve the sanctity of culture, Dharma, and the purity of mind, thought, and deed.
